  1. In the poorest fifth, about 9 women in a hundred report fair or poor health where their state’s income is shared most evenly, and 17 where it is shared least.
  2. In the second fifth, still more where inequality is high: 12.5 against 9.9.
  3. Above them the difference is gone, or turns the other way: in the richest fifth, 2 or 3 in a hundred, wherever they live.
