Concentration is the base for renunciation.
Renunciation is wanting to be free from dukkha and the origin of dukkha.
To wish the others to be free from dukkha, one must wish oneself to be free from dukkha.
The three poisons are the origin of dukkha.
Aversion, desire and ignorance are the three poisons.
Aversion and desire are related to the way we assign things values that are not there.
The first obstacle is the “I” and its agenda.
Renunciation leads to equanimity.
Equanimity towards all beings, regardless of our experience in this lifetime.
All beings includes all beings, regardless of anything.
In peace, there is no need to assign any value.
